You read that right. I am happy to announce that final edits are underway for Having it All, book three in the Passion Series. The plan is to have it released by the end of this month (yes – April)! I’ll have a definite date any day and a cover reveal right behind that.
So, to get us all ready, I thought I’d share a snippet of the soon to be released book. Eight little lines never seemed so short. Tiffany is on the phone talking with Lukus on her way to his loft after work. She is questioning him on why he gets to make her dinner.
Snippet:
“So you don’t want me to cook after a long day of working, but you get to cook?”
“Yep. I make the rules, remember?”
“Hmmm. I don’t recall agreeing to that.”
“Oh, I’m sure you meant to. It’s front and center in that contract I’ve been trying to get you to read through. The rules are outlined right before agreeing to let me spank that beautiful ass of yours when you break one of them.” His deep chuckle reassures her, yet the mention of the contract throws her into a whole new level of anxiety.
She is lost in thought long enough that Lukus has to make sure she is still there. “Hey, did I lose you?”
“No, I’m here.”
“You’re thinking again, aren’t you?”
“I have a brain. I tend to think from time to time, yes.
“Sass. You are so full of sass, Miss O’Sullivan. Talk.”

Love it when the hero makes the heroine talk!
Oh, he is good at making her talk, Renee. 🙂
It’s been a long time since Securing It All! Congrats on the almost release 🙂 but it’s something to look forward to for later this month.
The snippet sounds lovely and from what I know about Tiffany and Lukus, this is totally them. I do have a question for you about the series. When you started writing it, was it meant to be 4 books on Breanna and Markus and Tiffany and Lukus sort of took over? It was what I had assumed when I read Wanting it All – that L and T would be secondary characters, but they really weren’t by the end. I love that they weren’t by the way, I’m just curious. Or nosey 😉
Thanks for the great question, Natasha. Honestly, my original outline ended at the end of book one, Wanting it All. Not sure if you knew that that portion of the story I had been posting chapter by chapter on Literotica.com and had gathered a growing fan base. As I was nearing the end of the story, fans were clamoring for more Lukus and Tiffany. I had always planned the ensemble cast. I just hadn’t planned for Lukus and Tiffany to kind of take over the way they did, but it makes sense to me. As I kept writing past the original plan, they were the ‘new’ couple and there was more unresolved and exciting with their relationship. Brianna and Markus had so many problems to work through and they were in a ‘heavy’ spot in their lives. It really helped me keep the books balanced and I’ve always loved stories with rich friendships outside of the romance.
I have backstory for every single character in the book and could write forever if fans wanted me to, but once I wrote Securing it all, I outlined the story ARC that takes me through the four planned books. Having it All is all about watching our couples learn to live in their new roles. It is heavy at times and funny at others. Just like real life. Jake makes a reappearance in HIA, but Protecting it All (book 4) is where we’ll see how the guys finally deal with Jake. I’m gonna wait and see how the series is doing after book four to see if I call it quits there or if I write Derek and Rachel’s ‘having a baby’ I’ve always wondered what age play couples do when they have kids themselves and I just love Derek. He is such a strong secondary character.
Thanks again for the great question!
I enjoyed their conversation and I think it’s time for her to read that contract carefully.
Thank, PK. Would you be shocked to find out she never does? I think readers will love the creative ways Lukus comes up with to deal with her refusal.
Love the banter. Congrats on the upcoming release.
Thanks, Cara.
Perfect timing. I’m reading Wanting it All now, then I’ll start Securing it All, by then Having it All should be out. Great series. I was a little worried in the beginning when Lukus had Brianna at his mercy. He’s a strong man, and he’s not holding back, I thought he’s really going to hurt her, badly. In fact, I’m surprised he didn’t do more damage than he did. I like him now, though.
I am so happy to hear you are reading Wanting it All, Kathryn. Yes, the series does start out very intense and our couples have a lot of shit to battle back from. I hope you enjoy their journey. Can’t want to hear how you like it. ~Livia
Definitely can’t wait! Congrats on final edits!
